Hong Kong can be pricey, that’s for sure – but if you know where to look you can bag a bargain.
AirBnB lists this funky, clean and central apartment just off the Mid-levels escalator on the cosmopolitan Staunton Street. It will fit 4 people and you can even drop down to the local Marks and Spencer to pick up your evening meal (breakfast and lunch for that matter). It comes with WiFi broadband internet connection – and Hong Kong has the fasted broadband speeds in the world. So you can connect your laptop or mobile phone to make a crystal-clear Skype-call home, or send an email to your oh-so-envious friends.
You can fit upto six people into this compact apartment (at a pinch for $32 a night), but we’d honestly recommend no more than 4, which would cost you less than $50 a night each. Not bad to find a week’s worth of accommodation in one of the world’s priciest rental cities for less than $350 a week, right? We knew you’d agree.
Oh and it has air conditioning too, which means you’ll get a sound nights’ sleep when you make your way back from one of Soho’s amazing restaurants, or stumble back from bustling Lan Kwai Fong!
