YourMum presents: Clairo, live in Hong Kong

YourMum is delighted to announce that burgeoning bedroom pop sensation, Clairo, will make her live debut with us in Hong Kong on March 13 at TTN.

Associated with soft, intimate vocals and daydreamy atmospheres, lo-fi singer songwriter Clairo (real name Claire Cottrill) is the twenty year old American electropop wonder whom rose to prominence in late 2017 when ‘Pretty Girl’ went viral on YouTube, amassing over 23 million views.  Her stylized but low-key, melody-driven tunes striking a chord amongst music sharing sites and online vaporwave communities alike.  Signing to Fader Magazine’s in-house Label, her debut EP ‘Diary 001’ followed in May 2018, showcasing her ability to blend playful synths and hypnotic nonchalance into something that is both instantly relatable and irresistibly charming. No surprise that the movie and TV syncs have followed, with Clairo’s music featured on HBO’s Ballers series and ‘Heaven’ being selected as the lead track in the critically acclaimed, coming of age film ‘Skate Kitchen’. read more

YourMum presents: Honne, live in Hong Kong

The songwriting and producing team of James Hatcher and Andy Clutterbuck met at university and with their emotive take on classic soul and delicate beats, began capturing the hearts of fans ever since. Their name derived by the Japanese concept of “true feelings,” they released their debut EP ‘Warm On A Cold Night’ in September 2014, followed by ‘All In the Value’ in the same year. After starting their own label, Tatemae Recordings in 2015, they released two more EPs: ‘Coastal Love’ & ‘Over Lover’ garnering an impressive online following in the process, and touring Europe whilst also selling out shows in their native UK. ‘Gone Are The Days’ dropped in 2016 before their first full length album ‘Warm On A Cold Night,’ which saw the duo elevated to playing the world’s most renown festivals and venues the world over, and with a blossoming reputation for bringing romance back to the dance floor. Their sophomore LP ‘Love Me / Love Me Not’ was released in August 2018 to both public and critical acclaim. read more
